In 2015, Congregation Or Ami was a new and thriving Israelite congregation in Atlanta, Georgia. Then, during the height of the Covid Pandemic, this young congregation lost the lease on their building because they were prevented from meeting during the lockdown. Rabbi Shalem Yehsurun held the synagogue together by taking their services online. They are in the process of looking for another place to call home.
