Being raised by a Baptist minister has made me very knowledgeable of the Holy Scriptures. Although I no longer belong to a Baptist Church, I have continued my pursuit of what it means to be chosen. About fifteen years of research has led me to believe the Israelites were called to save the world. I believe God put this plan in place; he set the Israelites apart to be a holy people and he made promises to them, and the promises are to them only. This does not imply that others can’t be saved. However, I’m not sure if individuals know what it means to be an Israelite. A perusal of the Book of Exodus, Deuteronomy and Leviticus outlines a significantly overwhelming existence. The ancestors of the Israelites made a covenant with the Almighty King to be a holy people in the Book of Exodus 19: 5-8. There are specific feasting times and fasting times and a particular way the people should live if they are Israelites. I believe the world is in a difficult place because the chosen people are not upholding their covenant.
Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. proclaimed in one of his speeches, he wanted America to do what it said it would do on paper. He wanted them to keep the covenant they made in The Declaration of Independence. I would like to know if there is a body of Israelites that you know of who adheres to the covenant that the ancestors made in the Book of Exodus.
I differentiate between Jews and Israelites. I don’t believe they are the same people. I also don’t understand why groups of individuals get angry when others declare they are the Israelites; that is a task for the Almighty King. In my mind the Israelites have a tremendous task before them and I don’t see where that task include fighting other groups. All of my research reveals that success for this group came from obedience to the Almighty King through His supernatural powers. I would like any input you have on any of my concerns.
    thank you
    Clarice
